An online service group is looking for a key team member to help
implement a new Content Management System (CMS) for the provision of
website content.

Our client  is an internationally recognised leader in tertiary
education and training.

The Online Services Group is responsible for the provision and support
of appropriate technologies; the design, development and management of
the organisational website in consultation with the Marketing and
Communications Division; the development and implementation of standards
and templates; and management of legislative requirements such as online
copyright. 

The Online Services Group will be implementing a Content Management
System (CMS) for the provision and management of website content.

The primary objectives of this position are:

    * To provide expertise and support for the implementation and management
    * To create and manage administrative aspects of the CMS such as
user accounts
    * To provide assistance with the management of upgrades and the
management of multiple environments (development, test and training)
    * To provide user-liaison including the provision of detailed
instruction on how to create and maintain a website with the CMS and the
development of documentation
    * To design, develop and maintain web pages using up-to-date, best
practice methods and techniques
    * To manage administrative aspects and provide instruction, guidance
and liaison to staff
    * To liaise with Systems Support staff on technical issues such as
upgrades, performance and trouble-shooting.

Essential Requirements

    * Tertiary qualifications in an area of Computer Systems/Web Design
and Development or other relevant area or an equivalent combination of
relevant experience and education/ training
    * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CMS tools in a large,
distributed organisation. Experience with MySource Matrix will be highly
regarded
    * High level knowledge and experience of website design and
development techniques and a good understanding of the issues
surrounding usability and accessibility
    * Experience in system administration
    * Demonstrated ability to work to deadline, and demonstrated time
management and organisational skills
    * High level communication skills, both written and verbal
    * Knowledge of programming languages such as PHP, Perl, Javascript,
and Unix scripting
