G'Day,

As I have just joined the email list I thought it might be useful to say
a few words about myself.

I've been in IT 25 years, the last eight of which has been in Melbourne
-- I'm actually a Pom who has worked in Europe, USA and the Middle East.

I am currently part of a start-up, http://headwestsoftware.com, who are
creating change management and requirements management products, based
on Open Source technology. The basic idea is to connect the business
people, with needs and budgets, to development teams in "meaningful"
conversations -- a major issue of course is that meaning can be very
different for these two groups.

As part of that we will be exploring the use of collaborative workspaces
(think of a WiKi), with structures and formal reporting feature, as well
as task tracking and work planning.
