David, I think adding do-it-yourself and open source solutions
together misses the point. I think you should add the "no CMS" and
do-it-yourselfers together - that's 65%. Almost two thirds of all
developers don't think it's worth leveraging others' experience.

Is there anything we can do to convince them? Isn't it interesting
that even a free (as in beer) pre-made solution isn't enough? I think
it makes more sense to sensitise their clients about some of the
consequences of  in-house or no CMS than to try and convince their
developers. A role for an industry association?
