Phew... 10 messages in one day wasn't a bad effort for this list!
Like David, I think there was much to agree on in the messages despite
(because of?) the varying perspectives. There are just so many different
requirements across the full spectrum of organisations. And sometimes we
unconsciously limit our vision to our own situation.
The skills and discipline required to design and implement a CM system and
its processes don't by themselves guarantee that we truly engage _all_
stakeholders. As was mentioned earlier, it's only a very small proportion of
an audience which is ready, willing and able to contribute. We need to
Cherish and Encourage them, not just put them in straight jackets.
